Ciao Hound Kitchen & Bar
The playful and whimsical design concept for CIAO HOUND was to take the traditional family style Italian Restaurant and turn it on its head with a style and atmosphere unique to the Florida Keys. The historic setting at the iconic beachside resort provided the foundation for a laid back, dog friendly, inside/outside casual, yet spirited dining and drinking concept. The interior is punctuated by dramatic lighting, quirky wall art, custom Polaroid photos, and oversized patterned wallpaper. Lighting was instrumental in transforming the space from a dim and dark space. Ceiling height wood blinds compensated for low ceiling height. Dogs are preferred, people are welcome and comfort food is the menu.
