Client: Southernmost Beach Resort
Location: Key West, Florida
Scope: Full Interior Design Renovation
Budget: $15 Million
Rooms & Structures: 243 Guest Rooms + 4 Historic Guesthouses
Bigtime Design Studios led the full-scale interior renovation of the iconic Southernmost Beach Resort in Key West, reimagining 243 guest rooms and a collection of restored Victorian-era guesthouses. The design blends contemporary coastal luxury with the charm of conch-style architecture, celebrating the resort’s storied past while embracing a refined, modern island aesthetic.
The design palette draws inspiration from the natural surroundings—ombre Atlantic blues, warm sand tones, and coral accents create a calm and connected guest experience. Custom furnishings, crisp white linens, and playful seaside hues define the rooms, offering casual sophistication at every turn. Bathrooms feature bright subway tile, turquoise chevron details, and polished chrome fixtures, creating a spa-like retreat.
In the historic homes—La Mer, Dewey, Avalon, and Duval Gardens—period details are layered with local artwork and archival photography to honor the property’s legacy. Shared spaces like the Dewey Deck and The Parlour at Avalon encourage connection while preserving each guesthouse’s intimate atmosphere.
This renovation reflects Bigtime’s ability to translate place, history, and hospitality into a cohesive guest experience—effortless, elevated, and unmistakably Key West.
