Bigtime Design Studios collaborated with Carnival Cruise Line to conceptualize and execute The Gateway, an innovative and immersive corridor aboard the Carnival Celebration. This groundbreaking project redefined transitional cruise ship spaces, transforming a simple passageway into an engaging journey that seamlessly blends design, technology, and compelling storytelling.

Our team drew inspiration from the elegance of vintage travel and the interconnectedness of modern transportation hubs. This led to a multifaceted design strategy incorporating architectural lighting, bespoke digital content, dynamic kinetic surfaces, and integrated atmospheric programming. The outcome is a vibrant, media-rich environment that adapts throughout the day, stimulating guest emotions through synchronized movement, sound, and light.
