If Conde Nast lists you as a US top 50 and a Miami top 10 in a market as discerning as South Beach we must have done something right. The concept centered around a city block “park” frontage that houses an adult sandbox, toys and the legendary F and B outlet EMPLOYEES ONLY. More than a boutique hotel, the design concept was to create a whimsical park-like atmosphere with Washington Park as the central hub and focal point for the surrounding buildings. The concept of what was, what is, and what will be is translated into the public space decor with classic modern language that is both timeless yet familiar. The lobby exterior was restored to its 1943 glory. The interior is adorned with warm woods, a light and airy palette of off-tone neutrals, whites, grays, with patterns and bold pops of color in art and accessories – all South American stylistic cues.
